“PLEASE STAY AROUND FOR ME, WILL YOU?"
Those are words our protagonist Quinn has said. Being a therapist who didn’t care for patients, Quinn is lying in bed. He gets hit in the middle of the night on the head. Soon after, he wakes up in a pitch black room with only a computer there. His only contact; you! You are the one to guide Quinn through 24 chapters of puzzles and mysteries. In the meantime, you need to make sure he doesn’t lose himself. The Appnormals Team from Spain created this amazing game and I’ll tell you why it’s just that.
The first thing Quinn does is get behind the computer and finds a chat partner. That partner is you. You are the one to help Quinn make decisions throughout the game. Only, you have to keep several things in mind during the game. Quinn’s emotions need to be kept in check as they will affect his mood, as well as his behaviour to a point that he might self-harm. The time away from the game is also not a good thing. The longer you stay away, the more effect it has on Quinn. The game developers have mentioned the game needs completion in three or four sessions. If you don’t do so, the problem might be that Quinn is not alive anymore when you return – heavy stuff.
Graphics Are Basic, Music Is Excellent
The graphics are pretty basic in STAY, but that is not a bad thing. The main focus of the game lies within the decision-making, therefore you don’t really mind the graphics.
